Gianella Millan is the child of a single mother in west Denver. Gianella is an extremely intelligent, bilingual 15 year old sophomore who attends the Denver School for International Studies. As a student of an advanced high school here in Denver, Gianella is required to have a laptop and we here at Harvard Square were able to help her procure the equipment she needed and more. Through the Watermark for Kids program, we provided Gianella her gold MacBook laptop computer with a fuchsia hard shell case and a pink and turquoise fabric sleeve, adapters for connection with other hardware for making presentations, a Wi-Fi connector, an HP printer, a Bose speaker, rose gold Beats headphones, as well as Microsoft Office Software that has a one year license. Gianella will be able to utilize her new computer when she interns for U.S. Representative Dianna DeGette, plus when she travels to Washington D.C. and Mexico to lobby for rights of United States immigrants. I encourage you to look for Gianella around Harvard Square volunteering some of her time giving back to our community in gratitude for our contribution to her education and future.
