Pioneer Village is an Antique Museum located in a small town in Minden, Nebraska. The age of the antiques range from the mid 1800’s to the mid 1900’s. We decided this was where we all wanted to visit, so we headed out in our bus to learn some things about yesteryear. There were 8 of us in total which worked out perfectly for maximum comfort on our 6 hour journey. When we arrived in Minden, NE, a town of less than 5,000, we were pleasantly surprised at how manicured and pristine it was. We toured the museum on Tuesday and we were all impressed. The museum consists of 27 buildings filled with every antique from horse drawn carriages, cars, motorcycles, planes, boats, clothing, jewelry and the like. The entire museum is set up as if you were visiting a small village back in the early 1900’s with a home, a school, a church, a train station and a livery stable. We spent about 4 hours touring, which was just not enough time to see everything. A visit to Pioneer Village is a must do, so add it to your bucket list.
